Members will remember his thought-provoking talk at our July\n2015 meeting on \u201cTo Restore or Not\u201d &#8211; The Impact of Conservation on the Value\nof Vintage Wristwatches.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This time Justin will be presenting a talk on&nbsp;the\nrestoration and history of a friend&#8217;s long-case clock with an interesting\nbackground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justin has been Technical Editor of the Horological Journal\nsince 2006 and has also written many articles for the journal, the latest being\nin the April issue, \u201cMagnetic Resistant Watches\u201d a review of the revision of\nthe ISO 764 standard. He is also an elected Board Member of the BHI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justin is a co-founder of Watch Club in The Royal Arcade\nLondon specialising in buying and selling the world\u2019s finest pre-owned watches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meeting held on line via Zoom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6 August 2020 &#8220;Dobson&#8221; \u2013 A clock of the sea and the land.
